I started fast forwarding that F1 race as well, only way I could stay awake. Selecting a car places the player in the position of the first named driver for each team. That driver's name would then not appear in the race, and the player's name would appear instead. Secondly, it isn't clear where spectators would stand. So I expect the same for 2015 stuff once it airs. I like Thruxton but it's certainly not the circuit I would pick to go to twice. Firstly, it looks like it has 8 hairpins.
I hoped they would replace Rockingham with something different, like Mondello or Castle Combe. Not that I'm a fan of Rockingham, probably there are lots of more entertaining venues but still it's a huge loss. Seems silly to me that it wasn't replaced with Lake Torrent. I'll see if I can stir up some. From a selfish point of view, I think this is a terrible loss to the championship. I woke up for Arnold interviewing lol. I like a hairpin or two, but 8 would make the racing rather boring.
The question is, will your nerves be up to it? Rockingham has always been a bit of a soulless place for me. I know it's a bit early but figured it made more sense to put this into a 2019 thread. Too far from the action and lacking in atmosphere. Has Silverstone started charging for Grandstand seats now? Rockingham is great, but the problem for me is you can only sit in a grandstand, not with spectator banks at other circuits from autosport. I too feel they would have been better having a second round at say Silverstone, Donington or Oulton, but with a different layout, like we do with Brands Hatch, instead of having both at Thruxton. More content: It is always nice to see a new racing track, but this one looks like it has a few problems.
Obviously, there would no doubt be budget issues and a trek however small across the pond would increase costs. Anyway, the calendar is out and there is no place for Rockingham, with Thruxton instead being given a second meeting: From a selfish point of view, I think this is a terrible loss to the championship. Maybe they should have considered a round at Mondello like before. Ferries aren't cheap, they only visited Mondello because they had a subsidised ferry deal with Irish Ferries and the Irish tourist board. I did find V8 Super Cars Race 1 from Melbourne, is that what you mean by Aussie Touring?.
After a long season of racing at course like Knockhill, Croft, Thruxton and Silverstone how can you ask for more than the whole championship being decided in the very last lap of the very last race? Former Formula 1 driver Tiff Needell provided a voiceover for the game. I hope that I am wrong, but it just looks like someone is trying to extort tax payers money for a vanity project. Shame that CoW never happened. Some of the events are actually well planned and executed with some of the world's top drivers making the trip over for it! I love btcc and wtcc. Maybe they should have considered a round at Mondello like before. Understand why Rockingham is being moved off.
The Official Season Review shows all of the best action from every race as Shedden, Plato, Turkington, Neal, Tordoff and more put the pedal to the metal. It's actually quite an entertaining track, but the sinking grandstands hint that all is probably not well behind the scenes. Progressing through the championship unlocks bonus content, such as extra cars and tracks. The game features different forms of weather, which can be changed before the start of the race. Just download torrent and start playing it. Shame about Rockingham - obviously I understand there's a whole other side but I always thought it produced excellent racing. The track looks like it fillls the plot right to the edges, and it doubles back on itself in so many places that much of the land would be cut off to spectators with pinch points - Silverstone has one of these.
Any suggestions on the best way to watch the 2015 season? I have 1 invite to spare, and I wouldn't mind giving it away. It will have elevation variations of 30 metres. Located on a 163-acre area that was formerly used as a clay pit in Coalisland, County Tyrone , the 2. Back on topic, I think if there was a genuine shout for Mondello hosting a weekend they'd need to make some updates to the track from both a spectator and drivers point of view. Hopefully we'll see more investment going into Thruxton now - pit facilities are pretty poor as is the final chicane, and viewing areas aren't great.
It will also require the construction of new access and public link roads. It's a shame as well because the international loop would provide some great racing! This is the first I've heard of racingfor. Private development company Manna Developments heads the project with input from advisory firm Driven International. Thumbs down F1 for not keeping me awake long enough to see the finsh. I haven't really kept with any form of racing in the last couple of years but I used to have a Racing-Underground account back in the day. After the first lap, with Lotus out my pool chances disappeared as well so that couldn't even keep me into it. This seems to be necessary to allow it to fit onto a site which is compromised in shape.
I don't know if that's true, but in recent times the only major motorsport series Mondello sees is drifting!! Glad to know I wasn't the only one who fell asleep. . . . . .
